Jennifer Lawrence and Joel Edgerton rumoured to be Hollywood’s hottest new couple. And Joel Edgerton has already met Jennifer Lawrence’s family, according to a new media report. Woman’s Day claims the 43-year-old Australian had dinner with the actress’s father, mother and brother in New York late last month.

Joel and Jennifer, 27, play lovers in the racy new spy thriller Red Sparrow, and have recently been promoting the movie in Europe and America. Woman’s Day quotes an insider as saying that Joel met with Jennifer’s parents Karen and Gary, as well as her brother Blaine.

‘They all met Joel at dinner… at one of her favourite restaurants, Cosme,’ the source claims.

And the encounter was reportedly a roaring success, with the insider adding: ‘She gushed to friends the next day they all liked Joel as much as she does!’

Jennifer and Joel have been seen putting on a series of flirty displays in recent weeks as they promote Red Sparrow together. While they have not addressed romance rumours, the pair are both believed to be single.
