Charity Concert For Ari Malibu Musicians
A number of artists held a charity concert for singer and guitar player of the 80s era, Ari Malibu.
Jodhi Yudono, concert and concert players said, his heart was moved to hold a charity concert after knowing Ari in a painful condition.
This was said by Jodhi when interviewed Kompas.com in Kompas Tower, Palmerah Selatan, Central Jakarta, Monday (28/05/2018).
“At first I heard the news that Ari was seriously ill, he got cancer of the esophagus, I heard the story that for his treatment aja difficult, it means he needs a lot of funds,” Jodhi lata.
Jodhi immediately contacted several artist associations, inviting them to participate in a concert to be held on May 31, 2018 to arrive at Bentara Budaya Jakarta, Palmerah Selatan, Central Jakarta.
“So why do not we make a charity concert? Finally I contact some close friends who Insya Allah if I ask for help fine Finally in the name of humanity we make this event,” he said.
They are Ari Wibowo, Toni Q, Syaharani, Oppie Andaresta, Sha Ine Febrianti, Widianti Kamil, Maya Angela and others.
Jodhi also presents Reda Gaudiamo, Ari duo duo du duo AriReda.
The artists will bring songs and poems sung Ari. Jodhi also invites the family to watch the concert.
“At first I wanted this event to support Ari, to give spirit to ari through the songs that Ari had sung, then the poems sung Ari we will sing,” said Jodhi.
“There are 30 artists, gongnya before breaking the fast there is Kadri Mohamad later, continue the second gong Tony Q who will wait,” he added.
