Indihome’s UseeSports Channel to Feature Liga 1 Matches
After the AFF Championship 2017 U-18, President Cup 2017 and 2018, Indihome is eyeing Indonesia’s top-tier league Liga 1 for its new channel, UseeSports.
“Football club matches have always been crowd pleasers in Indonesia. That’s why we’ve introduced a new sports channel for Indihome subscribers, UseeSports,” Telkom’s TV and video division manager Aris Hartoni said in a statement on Monday (26/03).
On the UseeSports channel, IndiHome will broadcast more than 400 football matches from Liga 1, Liga 2, U-19, Soeratin Cup, AFF U-16, AFF U-18, AFF Women and AFF Girls. The games can be enjoyed by Indihome customers via the IPTV service and UseeTV GO application. Additionally, daily news on Indonesian football will be aired everyday at 9:00 p.m.
“With this new channel we hope that football fans will be able to easily watch their favorite matches. Liga 1 broadcasts can be watched live and are available in standard definition or HD. Until March 31, the UseeSports channel will be free of charge. After the promotional period, Minipack IndiSport 2 can be activated for only Rp 20,000 ($1.4) through the myIndiHome app or through the menu on TV,” Telkom vice president of consumer marketing management Jemy Confido said.
