Director Doctor Strange Called movies “Pengabdi Setan’ such as Gems
Film Pengabdi Setan landing Joko Anwar received praise from director of the movie Doctor Strange, Scott Derrickson. Positive reviews that he conveyed through social media.
“Pendabdi Setan is a well-crafted, shit-scary horror movie from Indonesia.” (Pendabdi Setan is a horror movie creepy made from Indonesia), “Derrickson wrote in his Twitter account @scottderrickson, as quoted Kompas.com, Wednesday (6/27/2018).
Derrickson even likens the movie starring actress Tara Basro as a gem. “Film festivals are all about discovering gems like this one (The film festival is aimed at finding gems like this),” he wrote again.
Knowing that, Joko Anwar admitted happy film appreciated by one of his favorite director. “Wake up and read Doctor Strange and Sinister director Kan Bang Cabi so smile,” Joko wrote through his Instagram account, @ jokoanwar.
“Coming from a director that I admire a lot” This really makes my day. (Coming from a director I really admire, it really makes my day fun), “he wrote in response to Derrickson’s twit.
