Bomb Explodes at Surabaya Polrestabes Headquarters
The bombing terror in Surabaya happened again. This morning, Monday, May 14, at around 08:50 am, a bomb that was carried by motorcycle exploded at Polrestabes (Capital City Police) Headquarters in Surabaya.
A day earlier, the bombs exploded in three churches in Surabaya and flats in Sidoarjo, a city adjacent to Surabaya.
Head of Public Relations of East Java Police Commissioner Frans Barung Mangera confirmed the bomb explosion at Polrestabes Headquarters Surabaya.
“It was at around 08:50,” Barung said at the East Java Police Headquarters on Monday, May 14.
Barung said the explosion targeted the police officers. However, the condition of the victims has not been identified, whether injured or died.
“We make sure there are victims from the members,” Barung said while adding the attack was done by using a motorcycle. In fact, before the bomb exploded there were motorcycles and cars passing by.
“We are still investigating the location of the incident, please give us time.”
This attack increased the number of bomb victims in Surabaya more and more.
