Taylor Swift Just Sent Two Fans a Super Extravagant Wedding Gift
Taylor Swift has become synonymous with number one hits, the word reputation, and sending lovely gifts to her fans — remember when she paid someone’s student loans and gave a bunch of fans holiday gifts for “Swiftmas?” On Saturday, Swift sent two adoring fans, Edward McNoble and Margaret McNoble, a $150 bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne after she heard they would walk out to “Welcome to New York” at their wedding — the couple got married in East Meadow, New York. The newlyweds also played “Love Story” during their first dance. They couldn’t have picked better songs if they tried!
Swift also sent a note that read, “Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy! Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor.”
How sweet! The couple told Us Weekly the bottle was waiting for them when they arrived.
“When we got to the wedding venue, they told us, ‘There [is] a special gift upstairs for you from a very special person.’ It was awesome. It was such a great day. With all the moving parts, this was a great surprise! To get a bottle of Dom is a very nice gift, and then to see it’s from Taylor Swift is an even better gift!”
Reportedly, Swift would’ve tried to make it to the wedding, but she was in Los Angeles at the time. Aw, they were so close to having a Swift performance at their wedding!
Since there’s no impromptu Swift performance to cry over.
