Hearing Ahmad Dhani Hearing Upeech, Prosecutors Presented Witnesses
The defendant Ahmad Dhani will again undergo a continuing trial of hate speech cases that menjeretnya in the District Court (PN), Monday (16/07/2018). Dhani’s legal counsel, Ali Lubis, said that the trial was scheduled to examine an expert witness from the public prosecutor (JPU).
“Today the agenda of expert examination from the public prosecutor,” Ali said via a short message to Kompas.com. Previously, prosecutors have presented witnesses and facts in court.
They are Jack Lapian, Danick Danoko, Retno Hendri Astuti, Natalia Dwi Lestari, Togar Harahap, Syawal, Suryopratomo Bimi, Wardoyo, and Memet Indrawan. At the last session held on Monday (9/7/2018), Bimo who became a Twitter account admin @AHMADDHANIPRAST admit he was mentwit after getting a copy of sentence from Dhani through Whastapp message. “What’s in-WA it (from Dhani) that I post,
” said Bimo when answering questions Judge Chairman, Ratmoho. Regarding three tweets of Dhani, which were uploaded on February 7, 2017, March 6, 2017, and March 7, 2017, which were then regarded as hate speech, Bimo justified receiving the sentences from Dhani.
“Yes,” Bimo said at the hearing. The case begins when Dhani twittering through Twitter account @AHMADDHANIPRAST whose tone is considered inciting and full of hatred against supporters Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok. Upon chirping, Dhani was reported by Jack Lapian, who was the founder of BTP Networks for hate speech charges. Dhani is considered to have written a sarcastic statement on his Twitter account, @AHMADDHANIPRAST, in the period February to March 2017.
