Ahead of the World Cup Semifinals, Croatia’s goalkeeper called England Difficult Opponent

Croatian national team goalkeeper Danijel Subasic has revealed that the 2018 World Cup semi-final match against England will be a difficult game.

According to Subasic, the England team has a great young player. Even so, he and his team will fight until the end of the fight.

“They are a fantastic team, they have a lot of young players, but they are great, fast, they play for great teams.To us, it will be a tough game, a big challenge,” Subasic said as quoted by FIFA.com.

“We do not really care about who’s playing or who’s favorite, the most important thing is we’ll show the best game,” he added.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper revealed that this semi-final is one of the best achievements of his life. It was achieved thanks to hard work so far.

“In personal affairs, the achievement of life is when playing at the World Cup and including here, has an important role in the game,” said Subasic.

“I’ve worked hard on the team to achieve this level, and now I’m enjoying it, let this story go on,” he concluded.

Croatia against England will be held at Luzhniki Stadium on Wednesday (11/07/2018) or Thursday morning GMT. The winner of Croatia vs England will face France in the 2018 World Cup final.
