In this film, Oka portrays a Farish character who is a former r of Aruna (Dian Sastrowardoyo). Aruna and lidahnya are a loose adaptation of the novel by Laksmi Pamuntjak entitled Edwin. Her story of Aruna, a single woman in her mid 30s. He works as an outbreak expert with an interest in food.
One day, Aruna was assigned to investigate cases of bird flu that spread in several places in Indonesia. He then invited his friend Bono (Nicholas Saputra), a professional chef who wanted to find authentic Indonesian culinary recipes. Then, there is Nad (Hannah Al Rashid) who is a culinary critic who intends to write a book. On the way to explore the cuisine of the archipelago, the three met Farish (Oka Antara), a former colleague of Aruna’s office.
