Ahead of 2018 Asian Games, U-23 Team to Train in Bali
Indonesia’s under 23 (U-23) football team planned to hold training in Bali prior to the upcoming match during 2018 Asian Games. The training would start on July 20.
Football sports would be the first match to take place on August 14, even before the opening ceremony of the games on August 18, 2018.
“Yes, we have a plan to training in Bali before U-23 team play in Asian Games on July 20, but it subjects to change,” said Endri Erawan, the team manager.
According to Endri, the place was suggested by Luis Milla coach.
“Luis Milla initiated the training in Bali because the program is his duty as the coach and then I’ll accommodate all programs that have been approved,” Endri added.
Endri went on to say that there had no decision on the training place that was planned to be held in Bali.
The U-23 football team had lately played on a trial game against South Korea in the Pakansari stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, on Saturday, June 23, 2018. The team lost to 1-2 during the game.
