The Sacred Riana Scares Judges on ‘America’s Got Talent’
Indonesian magician The Sacred Riana will appear on reality TV show America’s Got Talent (AGT). Premiering on Thursday, May 31, the show’s latest season will be broadcast via AXN.
In the show, the magician, known for her creepy aura and dramatic act, stands on the stage, declining to answer when asked her name. She begins her performance by dropping a doll onto the stage floor, causing some of the judges and the audience to scream in shock.
She then moves to the judges’ table and walks around. The judges, comprising Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mendel, look terrified. Riana stops in front of Mel B to take some photos from a box and shows a folded newspaper scrap titled “12 People Die in Building Blaze – Suicide Victim to Blame.”
Mel B is then asked to guess who caused the fire and choose one photo. Cowell suddenly pressing the red button adds to the shock and horror.
“Why would you do that?” Mel B protests to Cowell.
Using an instant camera, Riana takes Mel B’s photo and hands her the result. She unfolds the newspaper scrap and it shows the picture of the man in the photo that Mel B has chosen.
“And what’s under the Polaroid [photo]?” Klum asks.
“Don’t even ask,” says Mel B.
Riana grabs the photo and reveals that the man from the newspaper is captured behind Mel B, leading the audience to scream in horror.
“You should go away, go away now,” says Mendel.
However, the video, which is posted on the official YouTube account of AGT, does not reveal the judges’ final decision about Riana.
Back in December last year, Riana was crowned the winner of the second season of Asia’s Got Talent, the regional edition of the series. She defeated eight other participants and brought home the prize of $100,000.
