2018 Asian Para Games Opens Registration For 8000 Volunteer

The 2018 Asian Para Games Executive Committee (INAPGOC) opens registration of 8,000 volunteers for the Asian Para Games in Jakarta that will take place on October 6 until October 13, 2018. The recruitment process starts on April 21, 2018, until July 31, 2018.

“We expect the volunteers will come from students, disabled communities, the public in general, and foreign citizens,” said INAPGOC member Rezza D. Brammadita in a written statement on Friday, April 20, 2018.

Rezza explained people can register through www.asianparagames2018.id/volunteer with requirements including a minimum age of 18 years and in possession of the required administrative documents such as identity cards, diplomas certificate, police records reference.

“Mastering English is a must, it will be a plus if they master other languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Arabic or Russian,” Rezza added.

INAPGOC will gather volunteer candidates for the interview stages if they pass the administrative requirements. Rezza noted that the committee did not provide transportation fee or accommodation for those applicants during the interview.

Rezza further explained that volunteers will interact with about 3,000 athletes and officials from 43 countries in 18 sports and 556 matches.
