Valentino Rossi: Marc Marquez CONTINUES War of Words With MotoGP Star

Marquez crashed into the Italian racer in Sunday’s Argentina Grand Prix, forcing the Yamaha rider off the track in the second MotoGP race of the season.

Rossi was furious with the defending world champion after the race and rejected Marquez’s attempt to apologise.

The Spaniard admits he was in the wrong over the collision, but says it won’t stop him going forward, with the crash put down to ‘bad luck’.

“I’m going to continue being the same, I’ve always tried to run with intensity, but Argentina’s race was an accumulation of circumstances and a lot of things,” he told news agency Efe.

“Because of bad luck, I touched Valentino and then when he entered the grass he fell down, I understood the mistake, it was mine and I was penalised for it.

“When I took off my helmet, the first thing I did was to go and apologize because it happens to every driver, we are all going to the limit, but I am calm because in the end it was a mistake and the important thing is to learn from it.”

On Rossi’s claims Marquez has ‘ruined MotoGP’ with his reckless style, the Spaniard replied: “If you look a little bit, all the drivers at some point in their sport career have had this kind of mistakes, to apologise.

“I always try to learn everything, analyse everything, but (Rossi) is one more on track, nothing happens.”
