10 Best-selling Films in 2018, Dilan 1990 Still Ranks Top Place

Dilan 1990 is still listed as Indonesia`s best-selling film in 2018. However, it cannot defeat the Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Bos Part 1 that broke the record as Indonesia`s best-selling film.

Based on data cited from filmindonesia.or.id, on Wednesday, March 21, the audiences of “Dilan 1990” reached 6,311,490. It has not been able to compete with the audiences of “Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Bos Part 1” that reached 6,858,616.

In the second place, the film titled “Eiffel, I’m In Love 2” reached 1,008,350 audiences. While in third place, occupied by the “Yowis Ben” that reached the audiences as many as 871,257.

“The Benyamin Biang Kerok” is in the fourth place with a total audience of 731,780, followed by the “Bayi Gaib: Bayi Tumbal Bayi Mati” with the total audience of 615.768.

The number of audiences was obtained from filmindonesia.or.id, Cinema 21, PPFI, Blitzmegaplex, film producers and other sources. The estimated number of audiences is a combined data from various sources.

However, the data is likely to change because the films are still in theaters until now, including Dilan 1990 which perched in theaters nearly for two months.
