OMG….TNI Motorship Sank
Motorship (KMC) AD-16-05 owned by Kodam Jaya carrying 65 TNI soldiers drowned in Kepulauan Seribu, monday (12/3/2018) at 11.00 a.m quoted from kompas.com.
“The incident is correct, I got a report that the evacuation is now over with all the crew and passengers safe,” said Head of Information Center (Kapuspen) TNI Major General Sabrar Fadhilah to reporters in Jakarta.
KMC AD-16-05 engine was damaged causing the ship’s engine did not work at all.
After getting reports about the incident, the ship KMC AD-04-15 arrived at the ship KMC AD-16-05 to evacuate 65 personnel Kodam Jaya at 10:15 pm. At 11:10 pm, the ship KMC AD-16-05 sank. 65 soldiers could be evacuated by ship KMC AD-04-15.
