AP I Opens Registration for Homecoming Program to 3 Cities
State-owned airline operator Angkasa Pura I (AP I) has opened the registration of free homecoming program dubbed 2018 Mudik Bareng BUMN starting Monday, April 23 until May 25, 2018, as initiated by SOE Ministry.
“This homecoming program is AP I social responsibility for the community to provide 2,000 seats with 3 destination cities, Semarang, Surakarta, and Yogyakarta via land transportation,” said API I Director Faik Fahmi in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 24.
The bus to Semarang and Surakarta will be traveled via the north route passing Brebes, Tegal, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Batang, and Kendal; while for Surakarta continue to pass Ungaran, Salatiga, and Boyolali. As for the destination to Yogyakarta, the south route will be taken passing Bumiayu, Purwokerto, Kebumen, Purworejo, and Kulon Progo.
The would-be passenger can register to join the program through filling the form provided in AP I central office, Grha Angkasa Pura I, Kota Baru Bandar Kemayoran Blok B-12 Kav 2, Central Jakarta and bringing the copy of ID and family card. In addition, people can register online via AP I official website https://www.ap1.co.id/id/information/mudik. The registration is free of charge.
The first bus will depart from Jakarta to Yogyakarta six days prior to Eid al-Fitr or on June 9, 2018, for the first 40 would-be home-comers along with other SOEs program participants in Ancol.
Meanwhile, the rest will depart on June 11 in the former office of AP I (in front of Mall Mega Glodok Kemayoran). “With this program 2018 Mudik Bareng BUMN, we expected to maintain a conducive traffic during homecoming so that people can gather with their family in their hometown to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1439 H,” said Faik.
